The Bank of Maine has granted KBH $5,000 to be divided equally among the agency's three vocational clubhouses to provide financial training/clubhouse supports to people who don’t have MaineCare. Clubhouses do a lot of great work, but the Bank wanted especially to support the coaching of clubhouse members in these areas:
KBH provider Jacki Charity, LCSW, will co-present “Helping Your Child Through Grieving,” a free dinner presentation beginning at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 6 at the Alfond Youth Center, 126 North St., in Waterville.
KBH and Cappza’s Pizza of Waterville are teaming up for Mental Illness Awareness Week from Oct. 6_12. Cappza’s Pizza will donate 25 cents to the non-profit KBH for every pizza sold that week. The donation of a quarter for each pizza sold represents the percentage of Americans who will have a diagnosable mental health concern or behavioral disorder during their lifetimes.
