Program Manager - Skowhegan, $1,500 Sign on Bonus!

KBH has a full-time position in the Skowhegan area for a Program Manager to lead our northern teams in supporting adults with mental illnesses. We offer competitive wages and benefits and the chance to work for a multi-site mental health provider who's been serving our communities for more than 50 years. The Program Manager supervises daily staff activities and provides case management services to clients. This candidate will also be responsible for program oversight that includes the Individual Support Planning process for clients and providing appropriate crisis intervention services.

Outpatient Supervising Clinician - Waterville Area, Sign on Bonus!

KBH is currently seeking an Outpatient Supervising Clinician to work in our Outpatient and Substance Use Disorder program! The primary role of the Outpatient Supervising Clinician is to provide mental health and co-occurring services to clients by focusing on the achievement of mutually defined goals and objectives developed and revised in collaboration with the client. This clinical position includes working closely with the Director of Outpatient/Substance Use Disorder, the Administrator, and other Supervising Clinicians to achieve the service and financial goals of the Outpatient and Substance Use Disorder Program. The Outpatient Supervising Clinician will provide clinical direction, supervision and oversight to outpatient clinicians and field placement supervision for interns in the Outpatient and Substance Use Disorder Services, along with providing integrated care to clients with mental health, substance use or co-occurring disorders within the clinician’s scope of practice.

This is a professional clinical position that enhances access and continuity of care through the provision of mental health services to clients by focusing on conducting clinical holistic intakes for programs with capacity that align with patient needs. The CIS adult case manager helps consumers in getting basic needs met such as housing, food and entitlements. Peer Support Specialist - Skowhegan!

Kennebec Behavioral Health is currently seeking a part-time Peer Support Specialist to join our Behavioral Health Homes team in the Skowhegan area! The Peer Support Specialist will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide peer support and consumer information to participants in the Behavioral Health Home program as a way to regain control over their own recovery process.

Multisystemic Therapy (MST) is a time-limited, intensive family therapy and community-based treatment program that focuses upon addressing all environmental systems that impact adolescents who are struggling with behavior in the home, in school, or in the community. Internship Opportunities - Access Center

Kennebec Behavioral Health is currently offering undergraduate internships in all of our four Access Center office locations. The Access Center provides initial point of contact for clients, assesses client needs, link clients to appropriate services, collects demographic data, serves as liaison with community providers, and provides crisis intervention as required.

​Access Center staff and interns have worked diligently to create a clinical experiential learning environment with comprehensive learning plans, training in electronic medical records, valuable client contact time, and various research projects. Interns will have use of a workstation with a computer and a phone, interface with referral sources such as medical professionals, social service providers, and educational professionals, and interact with patients seeking services.

School-Based Clinicians provide individual intake assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and counseling to students in grades K-12 across Central Maine.  Our talented Clinicians work alongside children and families to help students thrive across school and home environments.  Additionally, School-Based Clinicians provide services within KBH’s full continuum of care for children, youth, families, and adults.

Outpatient/Substance Abuse Clinician - $3,500 Sign on Bonus!

KBH is currently seeking an Outpatient Clinician to provide office based clinical assessment and therapy services that promote long term recovery and improved health. This is a Masters level clinical position focused on providing outpatient services for clients in the Augusta, Waterville, Winthrop, Farmington and Skowhegan areas who experience serious emotional disturbance, behavioral health disorders, and/or substance misuse disorders.
