Central Registration Specialist - Per Diem, Waterville!

KBH is currently seeking a Central Registration Specialist to work in our Waterville Clinic! If you have experience working with the public and excellent customer service skills, we’re looking for you! The Central Registration Specialist position provides support to clients & visitors by answering incoming telephone calls, greeting clients & visitors as they enter the building and directing them as needed. This position also coordinates with the physician and clinician scheduling process as well as assisting with the billing process. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a medical setting.

 

Supported Housing, Program Coordinator - Augusta!

Kennebec Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to work with our Supported Housing program for adults in the Augusta area!

The Program Coordinator will assist the House Manager with administrative functions including quality assurance, chart documentation, staff scheduling, maintaining the weekly activity/appointment schedule, assisting with client intakes, tracking staff certification, and ordering house supplies. The Program Coordinator also engages in case management activities with individuals including: intake, assessment, services plan development, linking and coordination of services, services advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation services. The Program Coordinator will assist individuals with the Individual Support Planning process and identification, participate in crisis intervention services with individuals, and perform skill building and resource development activities based on individual needs.

Homeless Outreach Peer Support - Part-Time!

Kennebec Behavioral Health is currently seeking a part-time Homeless Outreach Peer Support candidate to join our Homeless Outreach program in the Kennebec, and Somerset areas!

This position provides peer support services and consumer information for participants in the Outreach Program(s) as needed.  The Peer Support functions as an integral part of the Outreach team and performs a wide range of tasks to assist participants in improving self-efficacy, identifying strengths and needs relative to achieving goals, and promotes empowerment and participation in the service planning process. The Peer Support provides support and outreach to homeless persons in a variety of settings. Outreach efforts are to identify and engage homeless and, at times, those at risk of homelessness as needed.  These may be persons who are not interested or comfortable with traditional services or systems.  Outreach includes, but is not limited to, engagement, monitoring, supporting, securing, and linking services, mainstream resources and housing on behalf of the individual, linkage of individual into the community services system or other program staff as needed to meet those needs, and advocating for homeless services with other providers including shelters, schools, mental health, medical and social service providers.

This person will work in all 5 of our current PNMIs at the direction of the Clinical Director.

Kennebec Behavioral Health is currently offering undergraduate internships in all of our four Access Center office locations. The Access Center provides initial point of contact for clients, assesses client needs, link clients to appropriate services, collects demographic data, serves as liaison with community providers, and provides crisis intervention as required.

​Access Center staff and interns have worked diligently to create a clinical experiential learning environment with comprehensive learning plans, training in electronic medical records, valuable client contact time, and various research projects. Interns will have use of a workstation with a computer and a phone, interface with referral sources such as medical professionals, social service providers, and educational professionals, and interact with patients seeking services.
